Kikinda is a city and the administrative center of the North Banat District in Serbia. The urban area of the city has 38,069 inhabitants, while the administrative area has 59,453 inhabitants.
The City of Kikinda has a coat of arms featuring a decapitated head, and the inhabitants are not very happy with it. However, it is an old historic coat of arms, and they do not want to change it.
I had an idea to try to solve this problem by creating a new logo and visual identity for the city based on the coat of arms, which can be used on informal occasions.
